By taking an in-depth view of businesses overheads through the analysis of current billing, a complete understanding of the requirements is identified. The correct tariff or level of service is ascertained and a Tender is held to appoint a supplier whose service or tariff best matches the stated requirements. Most businesses just accept a service or tariff because they have always done so, but proper analysis often reveals a very different requirement.

Mobile phones are an excellent case in point, whereby text or minute bundles are wholly inappropriate for the actual task, and / or employees are misusing their position of trust.

Regrettably, requests of assistance are often made by businesses when their energy supplier suddenly demands payment for a recalculated or long outstanding bill for which payment is urgently required and the matter has been passed to Credit Control. Cost Centre Services can still help at this late stage and in fact has gone on to secure or negotiate worthwhile arrangements through the application of specialist knowledge. In fact this is a growing area of expertise which is much appreciated by clients.

To date Cost Centre Services maintains a 100% record in successfully obtaining full refunds through overcharging and / or incorrect billing. Additionally, negotiated and noteworthy reductions have been secured from energy suppliers who have actually taken clients to court or threaten to do so.

A worthwhile example is where a client received a backdated demand for £46,000 with 29 reprinted invoices to prove the amount outstanding.  Cost Centre Services audited the invoices and discovered substantial errors.  After negotiation and adjustments, the outstanding value was reduced to just £16,000.
